0 comments - is this a record?

I'm not sure there's much point in going on with this blog. I know one or two people look at it, but the fact that hardly anyone ever finds anything interesting enough to comment on suggests that I am really, really boring. I'm quite prepared to concede that. If anyone wants this blog to survive, speak up or I'll kill it off at the end of the month. Same goes for my HG Wells blog, which seems to be equally uninteresting.

I do read your blog, and I occassionally add an entry, but I have noticed that I'm often alone in doing so. I'm not sure I can give you a reason to go on, good friend...

I read it as well, and sometimes feel the motivation but don't respond. That said, if the goal is to keep us entertained, you shouldn't bother. Blog for yourself, chum.

I'll try and say more going forward, though, if you stick it out.

Wise words, fellas. Maybe I just need to recharge my batteries. Maybe it's the weather, which is of mid-October greyness and dampness. We shall see how I feel in a week or two.

Perhaps you ought to advertise it a bit? Maybe a mention in ST ?

Or maybe you do already ... I'm away from my library so I can't check.

Good point, O Nomis. I'll put a link to the web site and the blog on the back cover of the next issue, and on the contents page, and see if that has any effect.

I'm sure it's sometimes hard to tell, because that's just the nature of the thing, but you are not shouting into the void. The fact that _I_ have nothing interesting to say doesn't mean that I think _you_ have nothing interesting to say. I hope you'll continue, if it pleases you. I read it eagerly, and laugh a lot and learn a lot.

I'd love you to write for me occasionally. In fact, I'm celebrating my anniversary in the second week of September and was hoping to encourage some of my regulars to contribute guest posts. Any subject that takes your fancy (except the brilliance of Heresy Corner, of course). (Can't promise vast numbers of comments, but there are readers...)

I occasionally read, and enjoy, your blog too. Although I would say that one of the reasons people might not be reading it is because the URL link to it on the Supernatural Tales page is not a link, or even copyable text. So I have to manually type it into my browser to get to the blog. Just a minor thing but it might help.
