What a great movie. It's one of the better vampire films out there and from what I understand, it introduced that whole element of sunlight being deadly to vampires.
Ever seen "Shadow of the Vampire"? Willem Dafoe gives a great performance as Max Shreck. While not a comedy, it's got some truly hilarious moments and dialogue.
Yes, Oscar, Dafoe is quite brilliant. It's a very good film, recapturing the craziness - and genius - of the early film era.
I ought to have added that Murnau's FAUST is also remarkable.
Murnau's Faust is one of the most heartbreaking films I've ever seen.
