Life is but a groaning shadow...

New book, new book! Paul Finch, whose work has appeared in ST and is therefore officially good, has a new book out. It's from Grey Friar Press.

Oh, I was hoping for yet another freebie. Curses!

And another thing! Before I buy any more books, EVER, I must get rid of some of the old ones. But to chuck a book is like tearing my very innards out with a rusty blunt thing not designed for that purpose.

Yes. I simply cannot do it with 99.9% of the books I have. Even the ones I didn't like, I look back on at times, and even the ones I don't look at much need to be there when I wish to see them. Each one also connects to a time and place, or a person, or some other memory I don't wish to lose. Beds, tables and chairs will have to go before the books do.
