Oh, Monty - you and your promiscuous young people. Why couldn't you just write about genteel scholars looking for old books 'n' that?

Watched both 'The Babbadook' and 'It follows' based on your recommendation, and really enjoyed both - with maybe 'It Follows' having the edge. I can't say I saw the connection!

Glad you liked them. I do my best! Not sure what connection you mean - the two films are very different, though I think both offer a good variation on a familiar theme. In one, there's the mysterious, spooky intruder mistaken for a child's fantasy, in the other there's the curse playing out slowly.
