I've already recommended this film, but I can recommend it again. It's well worth seeing in a cinema. If you like period ghost stories with a subtle and moving twist, this is for you.
I think you'll like it, Michael. I found it rather moving as well as a good supernatural thriller. It manages to be very British (complete with guy from the Wire talking in his normal accent) but has a universal appeal.
I've had this movie in my Netflix cue since you first mentioned it on your blog as I honestly don't believe it'll make an appearance at any of the multiplexes where I live.
That's a pity, Oscar - it works well on the big screen, and not just because of the 'jump' moments. But, having bought the DVD, I can testify that it works well as a late-night watch.
