Vein Diagram (See What I Did There?)

 


I think this is accurate - Lee did pay Holmes, several times.. I knew about the TV movies in the 1990s, but was surprised to find he took the role in 1962 for Sherlock Holmes and the Deadly Necklace. It was  a European co-production and directed by Terence Fisher - who, like Lee, didn't think much of the end product. Lee had to wear a false nose, apparently...
