Readability issues
Okay, somebody complained that the blog is hard to read. So far as I can see it's easy to read with Firefox, Chrome and Opera. So maybe it's a problem with Internet Explorer, or perhaps Macs? Please let me know if you have problems with this, gentle reader. Assuming you can read this at all, of course.

Absolutely fine this end (a PC) using Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer
It is definitely difficult to read the black print against a purple background on IE. I have found the problem is "cured" by using MS Translator, which turns the background white.
Thanks, chaps - clearly a problem for a minority of users, but well done Demosthenes for the solution.
