Truly one of the greatest supernatural films ever. The Woman in the Snow segment is also one of the most beautifully filmed stories ever.
I can't wait to see what other Halloween movie ideas you have.
Halloween at my home is going to be: Dracula (the Frank Langella version), The Changeling (the George C. Scott classic), Vampyr (Carl Dryer's film). And maybe, just maybe, Ghost Story with Fred Astaire.
Ah yes, all good choices. I think the Langella Dracula is great fun. My other choices are a bit obvious, but then if they are suggestions for viewing people need to be able to actually get their hands on them, which can be problematic sometimes.
I know exactly what you mean about making the suggestions available. I'm still waiting for DVDs of The Haunting of Julia and Paperhouse.
I will say that I'm also adding the short film "Rats" to my viewing. It is one of the finest M.R. James adaptations ever made.
